Fire system takeoffs are long lists of devices on every floor, plus pipe and the fire rated walls around them. TrueScale counts each device with its own symbol, measures pipe as lengths, and gives fire rated walls as wall areas.
What fire system installers mark up and measure
- Sprinkler heads, smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, extinguishers, hydrants and exit lights, counted with their own symbols.
- Sprinkler pipe, measured as lengths along the route you click.
- Fire rated walls, as wall runs with a wall height, so the wall area comes out with the length.
The fire systems tool set
